UFC FIGHTERS PARTY ALL OVER TOWN
It didn’t matter if they were bruised and battered from their Octagon combat—the UFC 81 fighting-machines were determined to party-hearty after their fisticuffs.
For new champion Antonio Rodrigo Neguira who beat Tim Sylvia, it was a case of the victor and the vanquished showing no ill will—and they both danced into PURE nightclub at Caesars Palace.
Randy Courture held court over at Jet in the Mirage, Joe Stevenson showed his fancy footwork on the dance floor at TAO in The Venetian, and Rampage Jackson was the star attraction at the new Prive nightclub in Planet Hollywood.
But the big bash was with “the face and body of the UFC,” Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, who didn’t fight in this particular Mandalay Bay contest. Instead, after midnight he took 50 of his closest and dearest to Studio 54 for the after-fight soiree.
He broke through his own security guards to shake fans’ hands on the red carpet. Chuck took over a large VIP skybox and was surrounded by TapouT banners and go-go-dancers sporting the MMA TapouT brand. The only time Chuck took his arm from around his blonde bombshell girlfriend was when he went on stage to welcome the party-revelers. Despite it being a LEVEL vodka and Red Bull pre-dawn wrap, Chuck still made it to the Super Bowl in Phoenix!
