TRIPLE THREAT TALENT SET FOR STARDOM
Talented, bright and beautiful, the identical triplets who make up Alizma are winning legions of fans for their impeccable violin performances of music styles ranging from pop to rock to the classics. Aleksandra, Izabela and Monika Okapiec now call Vegas home, and ever since they arrived here five-months ago, they’ve been racking up a string of successes.
Tonight, hometown fans get a chance to see and hear for themselves when the triple-threat team of talented temptresses hosts and performs at the Madame Monday party at the new Cathouse in the Luxor.
Born in Poland, the 23-year-old stunners have Masters Degrees in Violin Performance, but also specialize in other string instruments and vocals working with their own music and classical and modern arrangements of familiar stage and screen hits.
They said excitedly: “Las Vegas is now our new official hometown. We have been living here since August and have truly enjoyed making the transition. We all live together in a beautiful three bedroom house just 15 minutes from the Strip. We were very fortunate to find such a house with three full bathrooms as this makes it much easier for us, since we no longer need to negotiate bathroom time and can always keep our things out! During our first Vegas month, we signed a management agreement with Blair Farrington Productions in Vegas and our lives have dramatically improved. We can fully concentrate purely on performing, writing and practicing. Even though we are only still getting used to our new hometown, we are happy to live in such a vibrant entertainment city, undoubtedly the hottest party spot in the world! One highlight for us since arriving was to appear on the Jerry Lewis Telethon. It was a beautiful event and we were happy to be involved in making a difference and raising funds for the MDA.”
Their mother, Halina, a kindergarten teacher, taught the girls songs even before they could walk, and they were only three-years old for their first public performance. At six, the young prodigies were playing violin, and ten years later they were performing on several Polish national television shows, which brought them European exposure. But they had to spend one-year as exchange students in America and lived with separate host families in Delaware, upstate New York and Dallas.
Back in Poland they eventually convinced their parents to let them return stateside, and they honed their musical skills and polished their English, earning scholarships to the Wilmington Music School, studying violin with Antonio Rincon and jazz improvisation with Diane Monroe. All three then received full, four-year scholarships at Shenandoah University in Virginia, concentrating on violin performance, voice and piano. They graduated a full semester ahead of schedule with degrees in Bachelors of Science in Arts Management/Music. Recently they’ve played at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., Disney Hall and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and the opening of the Rose Bowl Parade with Leann Rhimes. They recorded the theme music for the VH-1 Classic Rock & Roll Celebrity Poker Tournament, and have appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly, the Montel Williams show and Steve Harvey’s Big Time. They made their acting debut on Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.
Those high-level executive rumors that they’d appear topless in the Bette Midler show were totally untrue, and I’m sorry for repeating them. But they are an eye-popping act and you can see that for yourselves tonight at the Luxor. It’s just one more step at the beginning of what will be an extraordinary career, and Vegas can claim them as hometown winners!
