The 7th season of Spike TV’s Ultimate Fighter reality show, which filmed here in Vegas with our resident coaches, premieres tonight. Among the stars are the UFC’s Forrest Griffin who from experience of a wrecked right hand and shoulder, and a broken knee and arm can certainly instruct the hopefuls in what to expect! … It’s the 5th annual Vegas Dozen at Saks 5th Avenue. Twelve heroes who make up “The Men We Love and Why We Love Them” will be honored for their incredible commitment to the community in a benefit for the Nevada Cancer Institute. Among this year’s honorees are tennis champion Andre Agassi, Tim Cashman, showbiz super-manager Bernie Yuman who brought the Las Vegas Marathon to town, Rino Armeni, founder of our Epicurean Foundation charity and Planet Hollywood Resort president Mike Mecca. … Don’t forget the Miss USA “Once Upon a Dream” fundraising dinner at Maggiano’s in the Fashion Show Mall.
