World famous DJ Paul Oakenfold brings his album tour to the Moon nightclub at the Palms to play 20 of his greatest hits and remixes that have racked up $2-million in USA sales alone… Superstar actor Paul Newman won’t be at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar this evening, but his two new premium wines—a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignon—will be unveiled for the first time.

A “premiere” red carpet will welcome guests, and Paul’s movie hit The Color of Money will be played throughout the special wine-tasting dinner, created by chef Russell Skall and Fleming’s National Wine Director, Marian Jansen op de Haar. Between courses, diners will play Newman and fellow winemaker Francis Ford Coppola movie trivia questions.

The wines go on sale next month, but our Fleming’s restaurant wanted to be the first to launch Newman’s Own. The movie superstar teamed up with Rebel Wine Company and chose the hand-selected grapes from some of California’s coastal vineyards for the collaboration… The 10th annual Legends of Bartending contest, with 70 high-throwing “flair” bartenders from 15 different countries, takes place inside the showroom at the Rio resort casino. For the first time, two-man tandem teams will also exhibit their skills with the flying bottles as a key event in the annual Nightclub and Bar Convention being held here.
