Even though Celine Dion prepares to pack up and leave Vegas, we will still be able to enjoy her during the expected year—long absence of her global tour. Next Tuesday (Dec 11), a five—hour long DVD will be released containing the full Caesars Palace concert.

In addition, there’s a lengthy interview with Celine and footage of her at home in Lake Las Vegas and backstage in her dressing room. She also let the cameras travel in her car to and from the Strip recording her thoughts and observations.

Her new Taking Chances world top charts album isn’t the only place to hear her after her departure—she’s featured in a new duet with Anne Murray on Anne’s new CD.

If you live in or near Quebec next weekend you can also catch all of the December 15 final show. Celine’s husband, Rene Angelil is co—producing a next—day December 16 special Canadian TV event aired by satellite from Vegas.

In addition to the show, it will include observations from Celine’s friends and co—workers in Vegas — and I’ve even been invited to provide some analysis on her Vegas farewell along with the impact she’s made on our city and the show—business industry itself. We’ve also been asked to attend the final show and have an informal interview with Celine after the teary emotional goodbye chat with the audience. We’ll have that as a special photo report on Monday, Dec. 17 as she celebrates Day 1 of yet another new act in her life. Luxe Life will be back again tomorrow with another new story and photo as the Celine countdown continues.
