One of Hollywood’s top hair colorists opened his first salon at The Mirage and color king Michael Boychuck, who encouraged Kim Vo to set up shop in Vegas, was on hand to welcome him!

Michael, who counts Paris Hilton and a slew of other stars as his personal friends and clients, has salons in Caesars Palace and The Palms. Kim, who is the beauty expert for E! Entertainment’s Daily 10 show and has appeared on ABC TV’s Extreme Makeover, celebrated singer Taylor Dayne’s birthday as part of his opening festivities.

On the “blonde carpet,” celebrities included K-Fed’s first ex, Shar Jackson, Entourage star Rex Lee, gossip guru Perez Hilton, Molly Shea, one of the Olly sisters from Sunset Tan and actors Mark Indelicato from Ugly Betty and Jonathan Bennett seen on Law & Order and All My Children.

After touring the new salon, Kim hosted a birthday party for Taylor in the Beatles Revolution Lounge where she was presented with a gorgeous cake to mark her 36th birthday.

Taylor, who has been churning out hits since 1988, has a brand new album Satisfied with its hit single “Crash,” which they played at Revolution Lounge for her!
