SUNDAY SPECIAL: THE BIG 4-0 FOR PAMELA ANDERSON! TOMMY LEE FLIES IN TO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY
For the second consecutive weekend, knockout Pamela Anderson was re-united with former rocker husband Tommy Lee—and this time it was to celebrate her milestone 40th birthday today (July 1-Sunday)! Her Beauty of Magic Planet Hollywood co-star, Hans Klok gifted her with a rare autographed book about Harry Houdini, considered to be the world’s best-ever magician.
The weekend began Thursday when Pamela’s two sons and parents flew in with her to Vegas to help celebrate her big day. Then they spent Friday soaking up the sun on the Planet Hollywood’s sixth floor pool deck. After a quiet family-only birthday supper they all went to see Pamela’s magic show for the first time.
“The kids were open-mouthed, just enthralled watching their mom vanish, re-appear, get cut in half and put back together again” said one of the resort-hotel officials. “They were mesmerized. I don’t think they could believe their own eyes. After the show they ran to her to make sure she was ok. It was precious to watch them all together with Pamela assuring them she was perfectly safe.”
Pamela’s family flew home early Saturday and friends, including Motley Crue’s tattooed drummer Tommy Lee, then arrived for her own 40th celebration. “Looking at her its hard to believe she’s turning 40” said the executive. “She’s such a knockout and there are no signs she’s even 30. That’s the real magic!”
Right after their Saturday evening show, Hans had a backstage surprise for the busty blonde beauty. First he presented her with a super-cake and then gifted her with a signed Harry Houdini book. Tommy Lee, photographer/director David LaChapelle, Han’s magician’s assistants Debby Verheij and Zarina Potapova, Pamela’s Vegas pal and Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity entertainer Jesus, actor Chuck Zito and magician’s assistant Nathalie Hoop, posed for birthday cake photos.
Two weeks ago before a long-planned birthday trip back to her home-country of Finland last week, Pamela appeared on NBC-TV’s Today show with Hans Klok and said although she loves the Dutch-magician she’ll probably windup remarrying Tommy! If they are together for more long weekends of her Planet Hollywood show-run we’ll know that it wasn’t one of her mischievous jokes—and may even prove true!
