… All of the Mrs. United States contestants who are HQ’d for the five days of the beauty pageant at the Silverton visited Rita Rudner’s show at Harrah’s last night. It was Rita’s first show after taking a brief summer hiatus. The Mrs. United States National Pageant is being held at the Silverton all week, and Saturday’s telecast will air on Bravo in about a month.
TONIGHTS TIP: The celebrity chef who literally created the Asian fusion cuisine craze, Roy Yamaguchi, has flown in from his Honolulu home to celebrate the fifth anniversary of his Roy’s restaurants in Vegas and tonight he will be cooking a special anniversary five course meal of magnificence at his Hawaiian hideaway on East Flamingo.
TOMORROWS TEASE: I’ll have arrived back in Vegas after a brief one night stay in my hometown of London (where I’ll be visiting Planet Hollywood honcho Robert Earl’s elegant Fifty Club gaming emporium) with another celebrity nightclub wrap-up and the unique story of a rodeo rider who goes drag at night in high-heels and lipstick to play the Queen of entertainment in La Cage at the Riviera.
