*International supermodel Joanna Krupa celebrated the release of her 2008 topless swimsuit calendar at Jet Nightclub.
The Polish-born beauty, along with best friend Jennifer McCall of The Amazing Race 12, enjoyed a VIP table behind the DJ booth and sipped on Dom Perignon champagne throughout the evening. Joanna, recently engaged, danced on the raised banquettes throughout the evening and insisted the DJ play Britney Spears‘ “Gimme More.” After two bottles of bubbly and nonstop table-dancing, the couple called it a night at 3 a.m.
Next night at JET, newly-single Venetian comedy headliner Wayne Brady danced in the VIP section enjoying cocktails with a new friend he’d taken earlier in the day to lunch at Sushi Roku in the Caesars Palace Forum Shops.
*Vegas nightclub operator Sean Christie went to LA to check out good friend, Chuck Pacheko’s club opening of Villa and was introduced to English movie-actor Jason Statham (Transporter, Italian Job). Jason told Sean he was en route to Vegas next night – so Sean invited him to his Blush boutique nightclub at the WYNN and Jason showed up with Jet Li. They were celebrating completion of their new movie, Bank Job, to be released in 2008. The two stars continued on to the resort’s Tryst club to continue the night, enjoying champagne at the “Jason Giambi table.” Rival Planet Hollywood hotel owner Robert Earl was also there checking out the club before his own new Prive nightspot opens next month! Before Jason ended his Vegas visit the next night he also hit the MOON rooftop nightclub at the Palms ordering up expensive bottles of Patron tequila for shots. He found himself at a VIP table adjoining former Palms cocktail server Sarah Larson who has been romantically linked with George Clooney since the Vegas premiere of Oceans 13, but no sign of the superstar screen heart-throb!
*Luxe Life’s lens-lady, Denise Truscello had a great turnout of admiring fans for her portraits and still-life photos that went on show at Caramel in the Bellagio on Thanksgiving Eve.
*In Vegas it’s never too soon to plan ahead. With the Osmonds all reuniting over Thanksgiving in Utah and both Donny and Marie as hot as ever, would it surprise you to learn that the couple will team together next summer on tour? MGM’s Hollywood Theater has already booked them on July 17 for a week-long run!
The advance notice is to allow Donny and Marie fans from as far away as Australia and Scandinavia to book their advance vacation plans.
*I just love it when one star goes to see another star’s show. The King of Silky Smooth, Tony Bennett came in early to spend Thanksgiving in Vegas, and before his weekend run of shows began at the Hilton he decided George Wallace’s show at the Flamingo was the perfect recipe for laughter non-gobble gobble!
*Spanish actress Paz Vega, who starred in Spanglish, took husband Orson Salazar and their newborn baby to FIX restaurant in the Bellagio for their version of the Thanksgiving feast. They picked on mini-lobster tacos, Kobe beef sliders, thin tomato pizza and a filet mignon before friends joined them for after-dinner drinks. Next night they hit the sister STACK restaurant at the Mirage, enjoying spicy crab, spicy wings and the hot rocks platter while sipping champagne and chardonnay. For dinner, Orson picked the large cowboy steak and Paz chose a petite filet!
*After appearances with Bon Jovi for the opening of New York’s Prudential Center and a stop in home-state Oklahoma for the Centennial celebration, the platinum-selling All American Rejects decided Vegas was the place to party. Tyson Ritter, Nick Wheeler, Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor took Studio 54 at MGM Grand by storm, and with an entourage of friends, partied in the mega-club’s VIP section drinking Jewel of Russia vodka.
