*Happy Birthday Hef—it’s the actual 82nd for the Playboy founder so congratulations are in order! (Click here for yesterday’s Luxe Life interview and click here for Monday’s coverage of his Vegas celebrations with a totally naked Pamela Anderson). While Hef and his Girls Next Door were in Vegas they made a quick stop at Trader Vics Polynesian-styled restaurant in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops. Hef, a regular at Trader Vic’s Beverly Hills, ordered his “regular” meal without looking at the menu: Chop Suey, mash potatoes and a tall glass of cold milk prepared by executive chef Rick Giffen, and served with an infamous mai tai, No. 1 gal pal Holly, had BBQ pork ribs and two banana daiquiris. Bridget ordered mango chili beef and the Chi Chi while Kendra enjoyed All In Fried Rice and the peach tree sun. Hef, the Girls Next Door and five other playmates took their ceramic coconut shell drinks up to the Lava Room where Vegas lounge sensation Jimmy Hopper sang his rendition of “Happy Birthday” and chef Rick presented Hef with a birthday cake.

Luxe Life readers are still talking about the incredible story of how blonde bombshell pinup Pamela stripped down to her own birthday suit—wearing just her high-heels—to give Hef a lap dance and Marilyn Monroe-styled “Happy Birthday” sing-along. Just 24 hours later in what had to be priceless publicity, the former Babewatch starlet announced she’d shoot an unscripted 30-minute weekly reality TV series for E! Network.

Pamela, to air this summer, will reveal “the real woman behind the famous breasts” and because she’s one of the producers it will be observational and not feature contrived situations, which as are found on Gene Simmons Family Jewels.”We’re not going to do things which are set-ups,” she commented. Hopefully since Pammy keeps saying that whatever she does these days is for the benefit of her two children the series will not open with Hef’s birthday dance—although the ratings would make her No. 1 instantly!
