*Get ready as MGM unveils its Wet Republic ultra pool and gives birth to “Daylife”—the bright sun-soaked version of nightlife. The adults-only 53,000-square-feet play-pleasure partygoers haven will be billed as the city’s “first ultra pool.” MGM’s Anthony Olheiser promises the best elements of Vegas nightlife fused with supreme poolside amenities and services when it opens mid-month. The linen white contemporary look will be highlighted with vibrant hues of emerald green, turquoise and canary yellow to evoke a sensuous South Beach ambiance. There will be eight-separate pools and spas and at the centerpiece, two-spectacular saltwater pools with six-cascading waterfalls. A sultry covered pool lounge to mix mingle, dance and dine is set alongside with a 60-foot marble-topped bar. The 4,100-foot sundeck will convert into a stage for celebrity guests and entertainers. The DJ booth is set against the backdrop of a glistening wall of water! MGM honchos are betting nobody has ever seen anything like this before.
