Renowned restaurateurs Peter, Penny and Mathew Glazier, along with executive chef John Schenk have redefined the traditional steak house with an innovative menu to excite all the senses with prime cuts of beef charred to perfection and the famed 24-layer chocolate cake. Both Citysearch and Zagat’s Best of Las Vegas 2008 made it a Top 10 New Restaurant winner.
*French chef Hubert Keller never guessed his Burger Bar in Mandalay Place would be such an incredible hit with its $60 burgers made of American Kobe beef, sautéed foie gras and shaved truffles. So much so that not only is his executive chef Laurent Pillard busy opening a second Burger Bar in Kansas City but they have plans in the works for 50 more across the country because of the demand!
Hubert who has been a guest judge on Bravo TV’s Top Chef was the first guest chef to cook a dinner for President Clinton in White House history. He’s also the co-author of the appropriately titled Eat More, Weigh Less lifestyle book with Dr. Dean Ornish.
*Legendary hip-hop icon Doug E. Fresh gives a special performance tonight (THURS) at the Slide original hip-hop dance party in Tabú at MGM Grand. It’s an opportunity to watch extraordinary break dancing competition with unbelievable twists, stylish freezes, knock-out performances and “how did he do that” maneuver—all orchestrated by Mr. Freeze of the legendary Rock Steady Crew. Fans get to go, literally, face to face with the break-dancing boys and girls as they make their moves and strut their stuff.
