* The fun folks over at BLUSH ultralounge in the WYNN decided to recreate New Year’s Eve, complete with a midnight countdown for all the cocktail servers, hosts and bartenders of the other Vegas clubs who missed out on the festivities because of work! Even rapper L’il John showed up to do a midnight countdown and surprise them with a mini-concert!
Pro-bowl star and St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson and Blush promoter Brandon Roque were among those wishing the crowd a Happy New Year all over again!
*Two-time NBA champion Kenny Smith of the Houston Rockets, and now with TNT’s “Inside the NBA” shot a pilot for a new series on TNT at the V-Theater Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile. Think of it as Saturday Night Live meets In Living Color, complete with hot dancing femme fatales in front of a live audience.
*Music mogul Suge Knight and his group ordered up the largest steaks on the menu at chef Barry Dakake’s N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms as baseball’s controversial Pete Rose watched on slightly open-mouthed! Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro running back Larry Johnson chose the Caesar salad and mushroom ravioli for dinner at Company American Bistro in the Luxor.
Slash from Guns & Roses and Velvet Revolver was at CatHouse in the Luxor with a group of ten friends for drinks (except for Slash, who doesn’t drink) and desserts.
*The nightlife of a gossip blogger is never done. Celebrity writer Perez Hilton was spotted all over town the past few days checking out the new The BANK nightclub from Light Group at the Bellagio, the new Prive at Planet Hollywood, Blush at WYNN and Jet at the Mirage.
