SHANNON ELIZABETH ISN’T JUST DANCING WITH THE STARS SHE’S DATING HER PARTNER
Lovemates and dance-partners Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough walked the red-carpet separately at the Palms movie theater premiere of her new Deal movie.
The attempt to fool the photographers failed because moments later they were dancing arm–in-arm around the corner and our intrepid lens-ace Scott Doctor captured them together.
In fact the ABC-TV Dancing with the Stars cameras had followed them to Vegas and they rehearsed in George Maloof’s new Pearl theater. You’ll be able to see the video of their romantic Vegas visit on tonight’s (MON) top-rated show where just five dancing couples remain.
The special screening of Deal, which also stars Burt Reynolds and was filmed last year at various Vegas locations, was a CineVegas Film Festival premiere. Legendary poker stars Todd Brunson, Antonio “the magician” Esfandiari, Phil Laak and Hoyt Corkins also attended. Shannon and Derek then hit the N9ne Steakhouse and hung out at the bar waiting for friends. Shannon went barefoot so all that dancing must be taking a toll on her tootsies!! However, it’s also worked up her appetite and she burned enough calories from practice to enjoy executive chef Barry Dakake’s $69 Ultimate Margarita and one of every side dish: green beans, mac ‘n cheese, creamed corn, gnocchi and mushrooms while Derek, who didn’t drink, enjoyed the Onion Soup and the Lamb Chops with lobster tail.
Then up to Moon nightclub to join actresses Jennifer Tilly, Mimi Rogers and Mena Suvari with boyfriend Simone Sesito, after their dinner at the resort’s Nove Italian restaurant and blackjack in the Playboy Club. Also making the scene there was Napoleon Dynamite star, Efren Ramirez and everybody danced under the stars beneath Moon nightclub’s retractable roof at the party. It was Efren’s 2nd visit in a few days and he had a shots round-off with his brother, which included one shot of Grey Goose, one shot of Goldshlagger, two shots of Patron and two shots of Jagermeister. They concluded it was a draw so re-challenged with a dance-off between them but that was also a draw! Ah the hi-jinx of our Vegas nightclub guests!
