All weekend long it was a race against time for Nathan Burton as he watched the hours and minutes ticking down to his premiere tonight (MON) at the Flamingo.

He unveils his new magic show at the casino resort this evening and workmen were pushing to finish a giant poster-skin wrap of him on the Strip front section of the building alongside the giant Toni Braxton poster!.

It is a 20,000 sqaure-feet cut-out and 10 dare-devil specialists have been hanging on a narrow catwalk slung down from the rooftop working to finish it for tonight’s 8 p.m. deadline. I’m told it’s the size of more than 20 billboards and Luxe Life snapped these progress photos that began Friday night.

Coincidentally Nathan who shot to stardom on the last two season’s America’s Got Talent shows is celebrating his birthday at the Flamingo pool after his opening of Nathan Burton’s Comedy Magic, He was originally on fellow Vegas entertainer Wayne Newton’s Apprentice type E! TV show. That won him a regular segment in David Saxe’s V at both The Venetian and then at the V Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort’s Miracle Mile before he was signed to the Flamingo a month ago.

Nathan who has a brand new set for his new production said: “Vegas is the No. 1 city for magicians because for us its similar to what Broadway represents for actors and what Hollywood represents for movie stars.”Luxe Life will report later in the week on his first night gala festivities and if the poster hangars beat the deadline!
