PURE’S PARTY PEOPLE
Legendary singer and Hilton headliner Barry Manilow made a very rare nightclub outing when he relaxed in a plush VIP cabana on the terrace of PURE at Caesars Palace. The “Copacabana” singer sipped on wine and was amazed by the incredible views overlooking The Strip.
Also partying was hip hop artist Too Short and UFC Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste, who celebrated her birthday with friends, dancing all night long to the sounds spun by DJ Riz of the Crooklyn Clan.
Entourage star Adrian Grenier returned to PURE from a quick stop at the sister LAX nightclub in the Luxor to join a main VIP stage booth next to actor-comedian Chris Rock, who’d performed at the Comedy Festival. He ordered up Dom Perignon champagne with his Everybody Hates Chris co-star, Mario Joyner.
Meantime, E!-TV’s Chelsea Handler and her party shared two tables on the dance floor where they sipped on Grey Goose cocktails and danced until departing the club as the lights came on moments before sunrise!
Flamingo headliner, comedian George Wallace also socialized on the main stage with the Comedy Festival stars.
As you read above, Desperate Housewives darling, Eva Longoria was one of the first stars along with actress Mandy Moore and new boyfriend, DJ AM to check out a test service run at PURE’s new Company American Bistro in the Luxor. After their “two thumbs up” verdict, they moved into the adjoining LAX nightclub where Whitestar frontman Cisco Adler and hip hop artist Shwayze entertained the packed house for MySpace.com’s party. Also joining the fun were Adrian Grenier, actor Taye Diggs, MTV host and reality star Steven Coletti, Slade Smiley of The Real Housewives of Orange County, choreographer Chris Judd and Max Doublefield.
Eva let loose and promised to join comedians Jamie Kennedy and Nick Swardson at their next night’s bash at PURE’s MySpace party. When DJ AM arrived with new love mate Mandy to take over the turntables for an hour’s stellar set, the stunned club crowd went into over-drive with cell-phones and digital cameras in a sea of flashbulb frenzy. Eva’s busy 48-hours in Sin City even included a dinner at Social House in the TI and the comic’s party at PURE. North on the Strip at sister club, Tangerine at TI, comedians Ray Romano, Kevin James and Max Alexander showed for cocktails and stayed on the Strip-view patio until past 2 a.m.!
Earlier upstairs in the Social House Asian-themed restaurant, Taye Diggs tickled his taste buds with Chicken Teriyaki, Scallop Miso and the Tuna Tataki Special while sipping mojitos and Belvedere Tonics with his friends in the lounge. Nick D’Anna and Ania Migdal from the hit show Sunset Tan partied in style all night long at the club’s Moonshine event after feasting on rock shrimp tempura and Kobe sliders upstairs on the outdoor patio of Social House.
