Lean, limber and lovely ladies from as far away as South Africa, New Mexico and Los Angeles fought each other at JET nightclub’s third annual Pole-A-Palooza contest in the Mirage. A $10,000 cash prize was at stake and the field was narrowed down to seven finalists. Zany showman Jeff Beacher along with his sidekick, Wee Man hosted the event and brought it down to a final three.

“These were some of the world’s best pole dancers,” said Jeff.

Before the final round contest, a high-roller in the club stepped forward to say he would add $10,000 of his own money so that the grand prize doubled to $20,000. The financial maneuver more than doubled the dance action which was judged by audience applause from the capacity crowd. In the end, the winning vote went to Anika, an instructor at Pole Fitness Studio here.
