PLATINUM PEOPLE PARTY HEARTY

It was one of the busiest weeks for celebrity parties in Vegas. So busy in fact that we’ve had to break it down club by club to keep it all straight and not miss out on anybody:

PURE AT CAESARS PALACE: Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day started her birthday celebration with sushi rolls and sake at Social House inside the TI, and then at Pure was surprised with a candle-laden cake by the Vegas Pussycat Dolls.

They sang “Happy Birthday” to her and she then surprised the crowd with an impromptu performance of her hit songs. Enrique Iglesias stayed partying until the lights came on!

Mike Tyson danced with fans right on the dance floor while Hollywood designer Faye Resnick danced at her main stage VIP table. Charger Antonio Gates stayed at a VIP table inside the Pussycat Dolls lounge there.

LAX AT THE LUXOR: Movie superstar and comedian Eddie Murphy joined up with two-time world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and boxing star Thomas “Hitman” Hearns to listen to world-renowned DJ Paul van Dyk.

Also partying to the twisting turntables were R&B singer Johnny Gill and pro-poker’s David Williams. Two nights later Tyson was back at LAX with Enrique Iglesias, Aubrey O’Day from Danity Kane and San Diego Charger’s star Antonio Gates. Also there was actress Rachael Leigh Cook, soul-man Barry White’s daughter, Sahara, and NFL hero hunks Owen Daniels and Jeff Blake.

Enrique managed to also hit the neighboring Company American bistro and Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace—all in the same night! He feasted on the buttermilk-fried chicken and waffles and the salt & peppered rock shrimp! At the adjoining table, Rachael selected the wild mushroom ravioli and the chopped Greek salad.

Beautiful actresses Rachael Taylor and Paz Vega turned heads when they danced till dawn at their dance floor VIP table. Actor Gerald Butler, from P.S. I Love You, and Cincinnati Reds player Barry Larkin sipped Patron and Dom Perignon while watching the fun-fuelled crowd, which included Mindfreak magician Criss Angel who partied till the lights came on!

BANK AT BELLAGIO: Just hours after being kept in jail overnight for resisting arrest by a police officer who stopped her for a string of driving infractions, de-throned Miss Nevada USA, Katie Rees turned up in black and white stripes.

Her eye-catching dress stopped traffic at The Bank nightclub’s Women of the Night hospitality industry party. Don’t get the wrong impression, these “women of the night” don’t cruise the bars or walk the streets, they are the female executives who run our nightlife industry.

BODY ENGLISH AT HARD ROCK: Rock superstar Vince Neil continued on with night two of his weekend long birthday bash. With wife Lia, he hosted a dinner for close friends at the new Ago restaurant in the Hard Rock.

Then, with Spamalot star John O’Hurley, Saved by the Bell’s Dennis Haskins, UFC champ, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, rapper Too Short, System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan, speed-motocross star Carey Hart and fellow birthday rocker Cory McCormack, they all partied at Body English. A six-foot birthday cake shaped as a guitar was presented to Vince and his pals.

CATHOUSE AT THE LUXOR: It was a surprise birthday party for Sin City director Frank Miller with his partner, Robert Rodriguez and his fiancée actress, Rose McGowan pulling off the unexpected celebration.

They also had 300 star Gerard Butler, 24 star Louis Lombardi, Spanglish beauty Paz Vega and Jamie King jumping out with the “surprise” shout.

JET AT MIRAGE: While co-star Paris Hilton partied with the Grammy gang in LA, her movie co-star Christine Lakin from their new flick The Hottie & The Nottie hosted the Vegas premiere party.

Christine threw herself into the Patron spirit of the night with some sexy pole dancing and reveled in a decadent birthday cake created by neighboring Jean-Philippe patisserie.

SOCIAL HOUSE AT TI: Hooters headliner comic Bobby Slayton, about to celebrate his 1st anniversary and his contract renewal for another six-months, sampled the yellowtail jalapeno, miso cod and tamarind short ribs when he dined at the Newspaper Room there. Enrique Iglesias picked Patron to drink with his Kobe sliders while Rachael Leigh Cook said “sake” to go with her sushi selections.
