A phalanx of paparazzi photographers from New York and Los Angeles along with a contingent of celebrity correspondents are invading Vegas this holiday weekend.

They’re here in the hope of headlines when the spotlight falls on two blonde beauties who will be rivals for attention. Paris Hilton will be at the Hard Rock Hotel for boyfriend Benji Madden’s Good Charlotte poolside concert.

Actress-model and former Vegas showgirl Pamela Anderson celebrates her birthday at the LAX nightclub in the Luxor.

Add the possible appearance of actress Lindsay Lohan alongside her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson and you’ve got “the perfect storm” for the guerilla gossip gang.

Incidentally, Lindsay is celebrating her birthday too this weekend, but fortunately that’s in Los Angeles although Lindsay is expected to commute back and forth with Samantha’s two weekend DJ gigs here.
