PAMELA NIXES VEGAS SHOW BUT WORKING ON MARRIAGE & DIVORCE PROBLEMS
It’s a topsy-turvy marital merry-go-round for newly-weds Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon. After a huge fight at the end of last week Pamela decided to file for divorce. About 48 hours they agreed to discuss their differences while on a Christmas shopping spree. Then yesterday in a major about-face, Pamela decided not to go ahead with the legal dissolution of their marriage—and in her newest diary entry now says: “We’re working things out.”
Blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson’s rocky two-month two-week old wedding to poker-playing sex-tape producer Rick Salomon almost ended just as fast as it began. It’s her third marriage. She first filed for the divorce less than 75-days after the rushed October 6 private ceremony in a luxury villa here at the Mirage.

Internet sites are abuzz that the 40-year-old buxom former Baywatch actress asked for spousal support from Salomon and that he pays her attorney fees.
Tension first surfaced when the couple turned up at a Virgin America airlines party thrown by Sir Richard Branson at the Tryst nightclub in the WYNN.
Pamela apparently objected to the amount of time that her then-new husband spent playing poker. But Luxe Life knew Pamela was angry about his on-going friendship and problems with a former beauty queen turned TV actress.
One friend also told me, “She was upset about his associations with porn stars and drug users. He kept saying to us, ‘what have I done?’ Apparently he couldn’t get on with her children and everybody knows they are the most important things in her life.”
So important that now for the first time Pamela has commented about the new Vegas show she’d hoped to do at the Planet Hollywood resort. It now appears that she’s nixed all hope of it ever happening. She remained silent about the split, but writing in her diary yesterday she commented, on the hoped for Vegas Strip production:
“Can’t leave the beach. I’ve decided against taking a HUGE offer to do a big production in Vegas—I’ve officially passed. Sounded like fun for a minute—very complicated with all the things hotel was offering—but after being home (on the beach in Malibu)—it’s impossible for me to leave—and going back and forth was already difficult twice a week with Hans’ show for six months—this would take up much more of my time—as much as kids love Vegas. I think we’re done.”
Then she seemed to confirm that when she links up with former stage partner Hans Klok in Paris on a pre-planned early February date, she may well “drop in” to re-team with him as a surprise guest on his touring show. Pamela wrote in her diary: “I’ll do a few stage appearances soon/Europe—Wild surprises/legendary stages—to fulfill the exhibitionist in me. That deal is done, but committing to years in Vegas, 8-10 shows a week is not going to work for my family. I’ve never made decisions based on money and I’d hate to start now. I’m going to work on my dream now and stay home!”
It’s doubtful either of them will ever disclose the true reasons for this first major bust-up that was predicted by everybody—despite her claims she was more in love than she’d ever been in her life and their sex life was the best she’d ever enjoyed. Nobody actually gave it more than a year at most!
You can bet one of the first calls Pamela made to spill the news was to former husband, rocker Tommy Lee who she still maintains a very close relationship with. He’s the father of their children, 11-year-old Brandon and 10-year-old Dylan—but for now, Pamela’s divorce action against Rick is on hold! Maybe they’ll make it through the holidays after all!
Coincidentally, yesterday at the same time as Hollywood websites buzzed with the news of Pamela and Rick’s split, came gossip that pop-princess Britney Spears might be headed to Vegas this holiday season with new hangout pal, Sam Lufti and they may tie the knot here, too!
