PAMELA ANDERSON GOES SOLO FOR NEW YEARS AND ADMITS “PLENTY OF PROBLEMS”:
There was no sign of Pamela Anderson’s new husband, poker-player video maker Rick Salomon for her midnight countdown at PURE in Caesars Palace—and everybody says their brief reconciliation after she filed for divorce 73 days after a surprise Vegas quickie marriage is doomed. He wasn’t spotted once on her Vegas visit!
Even Pamela admitted: “Oh there’s plenty of problems. What can you do? We’re all human. We’re all trying.”

Pamela filed for divorce from Rick on December 14 citing irreconcilable differences, but within three-days the busty Baywatch actress and former The Beauty of Magic showgirl said, “We’re working things out”—and the twosome were seen together in Malibu and shopping for Christmas gifts in Los Angeles. But even her close friends are telling me his New Year’s vanishing act now may spell the end.
Luxe Life has learned that the couple are officially going ahead with the original divorce filing. Pamela re-served Rick with the earlier December divorce papers again for the second time on December 28 and that’s why she came solo to Vegas. They are now officially separated—and he has moved out of her Malibu home.
Pamela even admitted: “What’s the definition of insanity? 2007 was an interesting year for me. This is the year I do everything I want to do—my way. I have so many great projects for the environment, for animals, I’m going to be proud of every single day—and make sure I do not veer from the path. Stay focused!”
Pamela brought her two kids to town and let them stay up late in their Caesars Palace hotel suite to watch the fireworks while she handled the midnight countdown chores to pick up a rumored $150,000 paycheck!
Pam’s PURE New Year’s nightclub party was an unbeatable bash. The blonde bombshell arrived just before 11 p.m. after visiting sister-club LAX at the Luxor. She wore an outrageously tight, short, clingy low-cut cleavage-baring Chanel dress and brought an entourage of male friends, taking a premier spot on the club’s main stage to overlook the entire dance floor. Shortly before midnight, Pamela took charge on the microphone and then led the partiers through the official countdown. Then she tottered on her high-heels up to PURE’s famous terrace for a rooftop champagne toast under the flashes of the Las Vegas fireworks. Anderson wished the crowd on the terrace a happy New Year’s, fed pieces of cake to her friends and posed for the flashes of many fan cameras. Just before 2 a.m. she called it a night—and returned solo to her suite and the kids! Also celebrating at PURE were Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson, MTV reality star Justin “Bobby” Brescia and Junior Seau of the 16-0 New England Patriots.
