PALAZZO READIES ITS MEGACENTER OPENING
A giant 450,000 sq. ft luxury shopping mall complete with the first 85,000 sq. ft Barneys New York store in Vegas will be opened officially on Jan. 18 within the new Palazzo resort casino.
In addition there will be 60 lavish boutiques including 20 stores and top-name brands making their Vegas debuts. Also, a remarkable 12 new restaurants with a star-studded collection of award-winning chefs will take up residency. Starting the previous evening—January 17—the Palazzo will launch its own opening festivities to stretch right throughout the entire weekend until January 19.
The new Venetian resort will also feature a new 65,000 sq. ft Canyon Ranch spa club, the Vegas version of the dynamic 40/40 sports bar and lounge in New York owned by Jay-Z and Beyonce, a unique Lamborghini showroom, car museum and auto café and a new 1650 seat theater where the Broadway smash hit Jersey Boys based on Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will open in the spring.
Although the grand gala is five-weeks away visitors will get a sneak peak later this month—especially when Jay Z and longtime steady gal pal Beyonce welcome a cavalry of celebrities to his club on December 30.
They include soccer superstar David Beckham and his Posh Spice Girl wife, Victoria, sports stars Shaquille O’Neal, Derek Jeter, Michael Jordan, Alex Rodriguez, and Magic Johnson plus co-singers Rihanna, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey with TV-legend Oprah Winfrey also rsvp’ing to the invites!
