Don’t be surprised if Grammy Award winning artist Ne-Yo, our hometown hero, turns up at a nightclub near you! Not only has he been making the rounds of our on-and-off Strip nighteries, he’s spontaneously jumped on stage for impromptu concerts. At Smashtime in the Hard Rock’s Body English nightclub he joined DJ Clinton Sparks from E! Entertainment’s Daily 10 cable TV show.

Producer Felli Fel joined the duo and when they played his new single “Finer Things” that features Ne-Yo with Kanye West—the crowd went wild. Ne-Yo grabbed the mic and started singing as the crowd went crazy. American Pie actor, Thomas Ian Nicholas, who has just released his own debut album Without Warning jumped along with the partygoers. Ne-Yo pulled the same surprise stunt when he hit Steve Wynn and Victor Drai’s Tryst nightclub.

For now though, his short trip home is over and he’s headed back top Atlanta to finish recording his new album, but promises to be back for more!
