MÖTLEY CRÜE’S MEGA-MILLION WORLD TOUR & RECORD DEAL
Tomorrow afternoon (TUES) at 4 p.m. our time I will be vindicated—live on the Internet thanks to a unique Microsoft webcast and live on the Fuse cable-music channel. Remember some months ago when I first reported in a world exclusive that the heavy metal Mötley Crüe rockers were signing a massive $100-million-plus contract with the Live Nation promotions company? I said then it would be a 10-year deal involving three world-tours and three brand new albums. I was ridiculed—and even Mötley Crüe guitarist Nikki Sixx categorically denied my story. Now Nikki himself is admitting: “The first album is done, the video is done, the artwork is done and the photo sessions are done and rehearsals are underway!”
It’s been more than 10 years since the Crüe recorded an original studio album and already sample clips of the lead single and title track of the new album “The Saints of Los Angeles” are “sneak streaming” around on the Internet. The entire album project is based from their best selling book “The Dirt.” Already the consensus is “if you like the single which is sensational and better than their giant hit “Shout at the Devil” just wait till you see the video—it’s beyond incredible.”
I’ve now got even more information in advance of the extraordinarily huge announcement tomorrow. The group will confirm that their first world tour will kick off in West Palm Beach, Florida—which is also where tour rehearsals will properly begin. Interesting fact is that during my Palm Beach weekend I got to visit Crüe lead singer Vince Neil’s Dr. Feelgood nightclub and rock and roll bar lounge and everybody there is ecstatic that coincidentally the group’s tour kicks off there. “There will be one wild celebration here for that and we expect Vince and the boys in every night while they are rehearsing here” I was told.
Vince is a good friend and a neighbor of mine here but none of this information came from him—so Nikki please don’t lambast me a second time! Rumor has it that tomorrow’s unique announcement will also promote a Crüe-Fest extravaganza with several groups including Puddle of Mudd and Nikki’s own band Sixx AM. Whatever is about to be revealed will be extraordinary in the annals of heavy metal rock history—so
4 p.m. PST tomorrow make sure you tune in—also because I’ll be vindicated after all the denials!
