It turned out to be a marriage marathon when Dancing with the Stars hero Mario Lopez served as best man for 19 couples who signed up for Yahoo’s 24-hour wedding ceremony at the Hard Rock resort casino.

Love was in the air for the Valentines Day stunt, and it was part of the launch promotion of Diet Dr Pepper’s new Cherry Chocolate drink. Comedian Pauly Shore and YouTube sensation Tay Zonday also joined in to host the unique wedding ceremonies. The Internet giant and the soft drink company created a fantasy Chapel of Love at the hotel for the free-wedding giveaway, complete with bona fide Pastor to ensure each marriage was completely legal. Each of the couples were given the services of a wedding consultant and the opportunity to choose one of three themed ceremonies: a rock and roll Elvis impersonator inspired wedding, a traditional white wedding or a cherry chocolate themed wedding. Happy to report the Yahoo Internet cameras did not continue on to the honeymoons!
