Nobody had ever seen 74-year-old politically correct CNN news anchor Larry King out of his trademark suspenders- and certainly not in a drag queen’s pink showgirl costume! But Flamingo headliner magician Nathan Burton pulled off that trick when he opened the variety show portion of the talkmeister’s 20th anniversary Cardiac Foundation dinner. Nathan flew to Washington D.C. to kick off the entertainment, which included Saturday Night Live comedian Darrel Hammond and singer Seal.

Nathan made Larry appear in the costume and as he got into the prop backstage he said: “I’m 74, I might die getting out of this thing.” The stunt was a huge crowd pleaser and Darrell was so impressed he volunteered to open one night as a surprise guest at Nathan’s new Strip show. Darrell will perform his comedic impressions when election time gets closer. Meantime, Larry promised Nathan he’s going to feature him on an upcoming episode of his Cable News Network talk show that will feature magic!
