LOVE…. AND RAMBO’S DANGER AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD

Romance was in the air at the gala official opening of the new Planet Hollywood casino resort. It was a fun night out for newly-married love-mates Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon.

“I love Vegas, it’s better than Hollywood,” said Pamela over the din. “This is what Hollywood should be. I don’t gamble, so I enjoy all the other great things. Getting married one time was a big enough gamble,” presumably referencing the torn tangled torment with Kid Rock, adding, “that proved a bad bet.” She and Rick cuddled up on a VIP sofa and were “oblivious to everything going on around them” reported one observer.

“These two can’t keep their hands off each other,” said another. “They were still acting as if they were in the honeymoon suite instead of watching Barbra Streisand, or Bruce Willis with his rock blues band. The former busty blonde Baywatch bikini beauty co-stars with magician Hans Klok at the resort’s theater until their final night on Dec 8, but Pamela is working diligently on landing her own solo-starring show to remain in the world’s entertainment capitol. Pamela explained that the scrape on her husband’s nose came from “a sexual escapade in the bedroom.” “We’re still in the honeymoon stage,” she laughed. “If going away for a honeymoon means more then, ‘let’s go.’” Even fans were in awe as to how she managed to stay inside her thigh-high, low-cut exposed wrap- dress and totter down the red carpet on her super-high white stiletto heels.

For the first time, Rick chatted about their relationship: “With work and the kids, we’ve had no time to get away yet, so maybe after her show ends we can leave next day on December 9, but we’re definitely going to have the real honeymoon getaway over Christmas. We’re not thinking about having more children - both of us have two kids each already. I don’t think so!!”

Also in the all-star celebrity crowd were newly engaged Charlie Sheen and his fiancée, Brooke Mueller, a real estate investor. Those-in-the-know advise that the engagement ring she wore to the resort party cost the actor a cool half-million dollars when he proposed to her this summer in Costa Rica. Charlie, who stars in the hit TV series Two and a Half Men is embroiled in a sordid and vicious divorce battle with his ex-wife, actress Denise Richards that has sparked scandalous headlines and accusations.

While at the gala I chatted with Sylvester Stallone about his newly completed Rambo action adventure movie he shot earlier this year along the Thai border with Myanmar which used to be known as Burma. I’d asked him about it because when I tried to cross the Freedom Bridge river crossing there two years ago, the Myanmar soldiers cocked their rifles, then aimed shots two feet in front of me screaming at me not to get any closer!

“It was the same for me,” said Sly. “They meant business. We were filming on that river and every time we came close to the halfway borderline, we heard and saw the rifles getting ready to fire. They didn’t like us being there–and they sure aren’t going to like our Rambo movie when it’s released next summer. That country has a brutal military evil dictatorship. We expose it and used some of the headlines of the recent monks’ protests and mass deaths there to add to the realism of our film and Rambo’s heroism to emphasize the horrors there that he tries to escape from and save others from. I am very pleased at how the movie finished up, but I’m very glad to be home. That turned out to be the toughest on-screen adventure to date. No walk in the park this time. It was tough and exhausting, backbreaking, really dangerous and we could have easily been shot to death.”
