KID ROCK BLASTS EX-WIFE, PAMELA ANDERSON – AGAIN!!
For some reason, Pam Anderson has started talking about starring in a remake of that famous Jane Fonda sex-kitten sci-fi flick, Barbarella.
That erotic sexually overtoned movie, outrageous at its time in 1968, was directed by Roger Vadim, who was married to Jane from 1965-to-1973. In the $9-million movie, Jane undressed in zero gravity over the opening credits winding up naked. Previously he was married to sex-goddesses Bridgette Bardot and Annnette Streyberg, and after his third marriage ended with Jane he remarried twice more before his death at age 72 from lymphoma in 2000. Pamela has become very interested in Mr. Vadim’s screenwriter producing credits as the remake talk of Barbarella, this time around starring Pamela, heats up.
And now back to our headline story: It’s becoming regular tabloid fodder with lurid headlines for Kid Rock to slam his former wife, Pamela Anderson and battle her former husband Tommy Lee.
You remember that fisticuffs at the Video Music Awards show in the Palms. Rolling Stones writer, Austin Scaggs—yes, son of Boz Scaggs—has just scored the ultimate interview which is going around the world from Ireland to India, from Australia to Alaska.
Kid’s new album Rock N Roll Jesus lays bare his tormented relationship with Anderson. The rocker and the Vegas showgirl, now winding down her The Beauty of Magic spectacular at Planet Hollywood, actually first got together in April 2001. He says they met backstage during a VH1 Divas Live tribute to Aretha Franklin at NY’s Radio City Music Hall. Next day she sent him Easter eggs and he invited her to his hometown of Detroit. Within a year they were engaged, but she didn’t want to live in Michigan and the engagement collapsed in 2003.
“I dropped all contact with her,” said Rock. “There were headaches from the pre-nups, too.” However, in July last year he was invited to a yacht in the French Riviera and discovered that the busty Baywatch blonde was there, too.
“Pam… everything about the torrid love affair came back and a week later it was like, ‘lets just get married and get it over with.’” He even bought an 8,000 square foot hillside apple-orchard home in Malibu to be closer to her. Kid reveals that soon thereafter however, they were in couples counseling. Pamela’s relationship with his mother and older sister was poisoned and his son hated Malibu. The end came by late fall when she went to Vancouver to shoot a film.
Said Kid: “I had Lakers floor seats and I was going with Jesse James. I could tell something was up. She didn’t want me to have fun when she wasn’t around. She’s trying to get me to come to Vancouver and I said I’d see her on the weekend after the game. That led to her saying, ‘You don’t care about me, blah, blah, blah.’ The argument dragged on and then she finally comes up with this, ‘I just had a miscarriage and you don’t give a…’ - and hung up. I was totally unaware she was pregnant, so being the dumb ass I am I charter a $60,000 plane and fly to Vancouver. When I get there she’s partying at this restaurant, drinking champagne, jumping on tables. I’m thinking, that’s a quick recovery from a miscarriage. It was a sham, one of many elaborate manipulations.”
Kid says enough time has passed so he can joke about the brief disastrous marriage.
“I’m single again. Everything in my life is perfect. I don’t want any of that, ‘I love you, I love you too, where have you been, you didn’t call me, you don’t care’ BS. I’ve moved on. The stars have aligned and everything in my life is perfect!”
Pamela’s response to Scaggs: “If he has nothing nice to say about me then please tell him to stop talking about me. We were married for four months. I hope his album does well and I hope he’s happy in life.”
