“It’s a dream come true,” said Iron Chef champion Kerry Simon as he looked around his new self-named restaurant on opening night.

The $7 million-plus eatery is on the sixth floor pool deck at George Maloof’s new Palms Place condo-tel and it serves early breakfast, lunch and late dinners plus provides 24-hour room service to hotel guests and condo-owners. “It turned out exactly as we wanted it and I don’t think anybody has ever created a restaurant wrapped around a pool plaza before,” he continued excitedly. About 1,500 people packed in on opening night to see for themselves and all agreed it was a spectacular new addition to the Vegas dining scene.

Actress Shar Jackson, the mother to two of Kevin Federline’s children, raved: “I’ve never seen anything like this before and I love the fact its green and eco-friendly complete with its own herb gardens of 100 pots!” Next day the stars began discovering the new hip and trendy dining spot: country star Toby Keith, comedy actor Seth Green and former Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees were all at separate tables the second night! Now Kerry’s getting ready to play host to Jessica Simpson and brother-in-law Pete Wentz of Fall Out Guy and new bride Ashlee Simpson along with a slew of other stars for the grand opening of Palms Place in exactly 10 days time.
