EVE’S DINNER DATE WITH JAY Z, MARIO & KARINA’S VALENTINES DATE—ALL AT TAO
The headline here isn’t designed to start a spate of rumors that longtime loves Jay-Z and Beyonce’s matchup is crumbling—and that he’s started up with rap superstar Eve.
It’s just our way of letting you know that the two superstars of rap, along with friends, enjoyed sushi platters, chicken satay and kobe beef at Tao in The Venetian. Eve who was here promoting her new Fetish clothing line at MAGIC has previously said it’s her favorite restaurant in our gaming mecca. Incidentally, she returned the favor and joined Angela and Vanessa Simmons for the launch of Marciano’s Spring Collection the following night in the new Blush boutique nightspot at Wynn.
Also at TAO was actress Rosario Dawson celebrating the release of her “Descent” movie onto DVD. The foto-flash frenzy erupted when she arrived wearing a sexy black dress on the red carpet with 4-friends, including her Uncle Gus.
They all tucked into the sushi, sea bass and Buddha chicken before going on upstairs to the nightclub’s VIP section where they found Dancing with the Stars Season 2 twinkle-toes Stacey Keibler and her boyfriend, actor Geoff Stults.
Another “Dancing” couple, Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff, now together a year, shared their Valentines date at Tao also.
They dined with four friends at a prime table by the restaurant’s signature Buddha statue staying healthy with sushi and steamed vegetables. The hand-holding “closerthanthis” couple went upstairs to dance cheek-to-cheek-in the TAO nightclub where rapper Lil Jon and illusionist Criss Angel also celebrated the hearts holiday!
