DREW BARRYMORE’S WEEKLONG VEGAS WHIRLWIND ROMANCE
Actress Drew Barrymore made no secret about her new romance with younger Mac computer guy actor Justin Long during their weeklong Vegas whirlwind vacation. It was a case of what places they didn’t hit rather than where they did go. The cuddling, kissing couple were everywhere:
• They turned up at the Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles LOVE show at The Mirage and then partied at The Beatles Revolution ultra lounge club where star chef Mario Batali was relaxing with his family.
• The Charlie’s Angels star dragged Justin for dinner at the FIX restaurant in Bellagio and then canoodled in the VIP corner of Caramel Bar there and drank a bottle of expensive Opus 1 wine while dancing all night until calling it quits at 4 a.m.
• The contented hand-holding, cheek-smooching couple spent a lazy two hours dining with six friends at the Nobu Japanese restaurant in the Hard Rock hotel and ran into boxing champion Floyd Mayweather en route to a 2 a.m. breakfast in Mr. Lucky’s.
Drew, now 33, has been dating 30-year-old Justin for just a few weeks. He starred with Bruce Willis in Live Free or Die and the Dodgeball movie hit. Their big night though was mid-week when they hit both the Pure and LAX nightclubs. At Caesars Palace the sizzling couple checked out the club’s Vegas Pussycat Dolls lounge (remember she played a guest Doll in the Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle movie).
After their first show the Dolls were invited to join the cozy couple’s Dom Perignon champagne and Grey Goose vodka party. Later the same night the tender twosome turned up still arm-in-arm at the Noir Bar inside the new LAX super club at the Luxor.
“It was just one non-stop whirlwind of restaurants and nightclubs. They turned heads wherever they went—and didn’t care a hoot who saw them kissing and cuddling. It’s obviously a very intimate and tender full-blown love affair for both of them. Drew is not normally ever seen in Vegas let alone behaving like this,” one nightclub host told me.
