It won’t be official for another 10 days but Luxe Life has the advance word from Donny and Marie Osmond themselves that along with their Osmond Brothers siblings they will all join forces for the 50th anniversary reunion tour.

It will start May 18 in Belfast, Ireland and then move onto Scotland and England for the balance of the month before jetting in June to Australia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

These will be their final tour dates as an entire family and fulfills the wish of their late father, George who literally got the family to agree to it before he passed away on his deathbed. Donny and Marie will then perform eight sold-out shows here in MGM Grand’s Hollywood Theater starting July 17. Ironically if they start their new headliner residency at the Flamingo in early September they will clash with their brothers who are set to headline at The Orleans Sept. 26-28. That has already set up some interesting speculation that Jay, Jimmy, Merrill and Wayne would join them on stage for Donny and Marie’s gala opening night. Insiders tell me that “its just speculation” and highly unlikely that they’d become background singers for the duo. The brothers will continue their own tours and residency at their permanent theater in Branson, Missouri.

At the Miss USA pageant won by Crystle Stewart Donny told my friend Frank Lieberman: “We are getting ready for the big tour and we are all excited about it. The huge announcement will be here in Vegas in about 10-days time. I was happy we managed to end the pageant right on time but things kept getting cut left and right at the last minute in my earpiece—but that’s part of live television.”
