DID PENN MAKE MAGIC TO STAY ON DANCING WITH THE STARS? DID PRISCILLA WALTZ HER WAY ONWARDS?
After an agonizing 100 minutes into the two-hour Dancing with the Stars recap show last night (TUES) all the trickery, wizardry and hocus pocus failed to save our Rio headliner magician Penn Jillette—and he was voted off the show by viewers who narrowly saved bottom-scoring rivals Adam Carolla and Steve Guttenberg.
Adam’s dance partner, former Vegas Academy student Julianne Hough also remains in the safe-zone for at least another week until either Adam or Steve are KO’d. It’s not likely that Julianne who is an audience favorite because of her two-consecutive season wins will last that long anyway—because she starts a country-western tour opening for Kenny Chesney with a stop in Vegas later this summer.
Stunned and shocked audience members who said Penn was the most entertaining of the male contestants laughed when he told the judges that he would continue on dancing right after the show in the parking lot! Penn had dropped 55 pounds since Christmas rehearsing for the top-rated ABC-TV show. Hopefully Luxe Life will get to chat with Penn later today (WED) when he returns to Vegas for the inside story.
The suspense is dragged out to the 115-minute mark before our other Vegas favorite, Priscilla Presley is declared safe—and tennis champion Monica Seles is the first female to be aced off the court. Next week Priscilla has to take on the challenge of the tango or the jive. Luxe Life will continue to monitor her progress on the show.
Incidentally there is an extraordinary story running on the TMZ Web site about Priscilla, along with Larry King’s wife Shawn and Lionel Richie’s former wife Diane all receiving botched phony low-grade auto-parts silicone injections by a rogue gigolo doctor. Priscilla is alleged to have visited with so called Dr. Daniel Serrano back in 2003 for the “miracle injections better than Botox.” Serrano was not licensed in the United States and TMZ claims he was indicted by the Feds for smuggling in the drugs and using them as unapproved. His release last week prompted the news surfacing and he is now being investigated by immigration officials for deportation. Priscilla is said to being undergoing corrective work for the damage from the surgical scam!
