BRITNEY & GEORGE MALOOF HATCH NEW RECORD DEAL
Rumors rampant this weekend that Britney Spears has signed a deal with Maloof Music, the record and music management company that is owned by Palms hotel mogul George Maloof and his family. Headquartered in Los Angeles Maloof Music is run by younger brother Phil Maloof. Supposedly, Britney would record her next new album for Maloof at the Palms recording studio here in the casino’s Fantasy Tower. George would only say “No comment—right now,” when I checked the story with him. That indicates we can expect some form of an official announcement in the not too distant future. Britney’s manager Larry Rudolph, who is a friend and regular visitor to George’s playground allegedly engineered the new deal but no word if it will eventually lead to a comeback concert in his Pearl theater to promote the album. Luxe Life will update this breaking news story on Monday and continue to monitor the dramatic developments..
