*Congratulations to Hilton headliner Barry Manilow celebrating his 300th show there.

Two carbon arc searchlights lit up the sky around the resort casino as champagne flowed for the superstar and his singers, dancers and band in an after-show party in the Tempo Lounge. The wording on the cake read “Barry, because of your talent, 300 shows is a piece of cake.” Barry opened Manilow: Music and Passion there on Feb. 23, 2005 and he will continue performing there through 2008.

*Meantime singing ventriloquist Terry Fator who also headlines at the Hilton revealed on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show yesterday (MON) that his contract has been extended so he will appear once monthly for three-day weekend shows every month for the remainder of the year through Christmas.
