ASHANTI’S DISC DEBUT & TIFFANI’S PUSSYCAT DOLLS BIRTHDAY BASH
Not only did pop-queen and Grammy Award winning artist Ashanti host her party at Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace, but she also debuted her soon-to-be released track “The Way That I Love You.” The R&B bombshell even performed some of her older favorites for the excited crowd.
For yet another night, fighter Mike Tyson stopped by, greeted Ashanti, and then settled in his VIP booth with the ladies. He’d returned there for a second consecutive night and happily posed for photos with fans.
Alongside Tyson were members of the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche, San Jose Sharks and football greats Marcus Washington of the Washington Redskins and NFL Pro-Bowl defensive end Simeon Rice, who stuck to Voss water. Gorgeous actress Tiffani Thiessen celebrated her birthday in style at Pure after feasting with friends on chicken salad, sushi and sake up at the Social House restaurant’s Newspaper Room in TI. The former Saved by the Bell beauty was surprised with a super-sized birthday cake presented by the sexy Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls who performed a “Happy Birthday” sing-along. Watching the festivities at the next-door VIP booth was femme-boxer Tatyana Ali.
Meantime down at sister-club LAX in the Luxor, it looked as if its was UFC “boys night out.” The macho-men of the octagon included both Mike Swick and Josh Burkman after their fight, which Mike narrowly won. UFC stars Randy Couture, Gray Maynard, Jay Heiron, Manny Gamburyan, David Terrell, Patrick Cole and, of course, Tito Ortiz with galpal Jenna Jameson after a sake sushi session at Social House, were all there lending support. Even now-regular night owl Mike Tyson popped in, and Mindfreak magician Criss Angel mingled with poker stars Phil Ivey and David Williams. Also hitting LAX was System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan, celebrity chef Kerry Simon, U.S. soccer star Cobi Jones and NFL signal caller Jay Fiedler.
Finally, our congratulations to good friend, zany comic Carrot Top on the third anniversary of his box-office smash-hit show at the Luxor and for landing his own new reality TV show. The redheaded prince-of-props celebrated in high style by partying late into the night at the LAX nightspot!
