AS MARRIAGE AND BABY RUMORS GROW, PARIS NARROWLY MISSES CROSSING PATHS WITH EX-LOVER—NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE! NICOLE’S VALET-PARKING CATFIGHT CAUSES SECURITY CONCERNS
If, once upon a time, there was feuding and fighting between Simple Life reality TV co-stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie today they are the best of friends, and all thanks to love being “all in the family.” Nicole and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden have a little baby Harlow, and Paris who is now dating his twin brother Benji Madden has begun talking about marriage and having a baby with him. The girls were doing the love, romance, marriage and baby chat-fest in a VIP cabana at the Hard Rock Hotel pool where their “boys” and the band played for the holiday weekend.
Paris and Benji are wearing each other’s initialed diamond rings of PH and BM that Luxe Life first showed you photos of three months ago. Now friends say it’s all leading to marriage and babies. I’m not saying anything specific, but let me just throw it out there that Valentines Day 2009 will be the exact year to the date they first met in Vegas! Wouldn’t that be an easy anniversary to always remember? “It certainly looks if the Madden brothers have brought them really close now,” said one of my spywitnesses with them. “They are really nice, down to earth good people just having fun.”
It was a busy jam-packed weekend for Paris—and twice, not once, she came perilously close to bumping into former boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos. It happened at the Planet Hollywood Resort hotspot Privé.
Paris and Benji were low-key and hardly drinking except for a sip of Patron Tequila and Dom Perignon champagne. They waved to the other celebrities in VIP including comedian Eddie Griffin, Tito Ortiz with girlfriend Jenna Jameson, Reggie Bush, Mindfreak magician Criss Angel and MMA fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who arrived after his loss at UFC 86 to Forrest Griffin. No sooner did Paris and Benji leave than Niarchos arrived with friends, but Vegas being the small nightclub city that it is it was only the first brush According to my candy-in-crime columnist Norm Clarke they nearly cannoned into each other again later at the Blush boutique nightclub in the Wynn, but Niarchos fled when he learned he was going to be seated near them.
Also, on Paris and Benji’s non-stop runaround town were visits to Carey Hart’s new Wasted Space rock lounge at the Hard Rock, which will officially open on Wednesday, July 16.
In their group partying there were Paris’s color king Michael Boychuck, make-up mistress Rain Andreani, TV actress Audrina Patridge, Everlast, Ben Lyons plus Benji and Joel’s mom Robin.
Benji was so pleased with Paris’ hair he complimented Michael and wondered if he could do a makeover on his mom. No sooner said than done, and the following day Robin got her very own beauty day at Michael’s Color salon in Caesars Palace with Rain doing the makeup!
Meantime Joel and Nicole who had been staying with their baby, Harlow in one of George Maloof’s sky villas at his Fantasy Tower in the Palms found themselves in a catfight in valet parking at the Hard Rock Hotel when they left to return to the Palms. Security was called and allegedly Nicole was asked to leave the property. But all was well next day with a happier twosome enjoying lunch at Iron Chef Kerry Simon’s Palms Place poolside restaurant.
Paris and Benji relaxed at their MGM Mirage bungalow and persuaded Sunset Tan’s top technician Janelle Perry to bring over the portable tanning guns for a totally private in-room spray session
