LATE NIGHT PRE-DAWN STAR ADVENTURES
Tuesday, October 30th, 2007It was one very late-night—or early morning if you prefer—for newly-weds, Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon when they returned at dawn to their Planet Hollywood suite.
Earlier they’d hit FIX bar and restaurant at the Bellagio for a late dinner with Rick drinking his traditional Bud Light beer from the bottle with chicken wings and organic chicken. Health-conscious Pamela stuck with celery and carrot sticks and Hungarian Tokai dessert wine. They then moved over to the Blush boutique nightspot in the WYNN before returning at 6 a.m. to their Planet Hollywood home. Even after they walked through the casino, totally unaware that Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz were getting ready to shoot a slot machine scene for their new film, What Happens in Vegas, Pamela and Rick were still not ready for sleep and, ignoring the nearby film-cameras, settled down to play craps!
Meantime, my gentlemanly gossip guru pal, Norm Clarke has kept it quiet, so I’ll have to tell you that he was called in by the movie company to play a small cameo role in the flick! Producers were said to have asked him not to even report himself being in the movie, let alone its secrets! Singing sensation Queen Latifah and former Flamingo hotel Second City funnyman, Jason Sudeikis, who went onto NBC-TV’s Saturday Night Live, are also in the film. Incidentally, while Ashton filmed his scenes, wife and actress Demi Moore spent her time playing blackjack nearby. Cameron and Ashton have about a week’s worth of filming, but both have promised Planet Holllywood owner, Robert Earl they will attend his official grand re-opening ceremonies starting November 16.
Yesterday they filmed at PURE’s nightclub in Caesars Palace, today they are again at Planet Hollywood plus the Bellagio fountains, and tomorrow, with a slew of extras on hand, they will take over the pool and Rain nightclub at the Palms—with (maybe) owner George Maloof just walking in and out of camera range!
The stars love their late-late nights in Vegas: Cameron started out at the new Striphouse steak restaurant in Planet Hollywood. Then she must have become fast friends with Pamela because they played games of chance together in the Mirage casino under security escort until well past 4 a.m. after partying at the JET nightclub. Pamela has admitted that she spent the full week having fun in Vegas with her two children as their school was shuttered due to the Malibu fires. During the daytime hours, Pam took them to play golf at three different Vegas courses and says they are becoming even better at the game. They all headed back home to Malibu after her two weekend shows so Pamela could do yesterday’s PTA voluntary traffic-crossing guard duty at their school’s reopening. Luxe Life is also happy to report that the tragic blazes, which got perilously close to her Point Dume area, didn’t cause any damage to their home.
